Washington -automakers Mitsubishi interesting (recall) hundreds of their electric car, Mitsubishi i-MiEV to fix the problem in an air SAC (airbags) in this car. Airbags in cars is potentially not to develop for the issue.
Mitsubishi Motor Co. as reported by the Wall Street Journal announced that they attract hundreds of Mitsubihi i-MiEV 2012 model year to fix a problem in the airbags.
In a document given to the Road Safety Agency and American Traffic or The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), Mitsubishi reported if there are non-match between the airbag sensor and software in the car makes front and side airbag systems are reluctant to serve.
If this happens, then the airbags warning light will light up to let the driver know if there really is a problem. And if the problem is not corrected, then the function of airbags and front side to be unable to work properly when the accident happened, which ultimately increases the risk of injury to the occupants.
This recall affects approximately 261 electric vehicles built between 4th November 2011 and December 22, 2011. The Mitsubishi dealership with recall will replace sensor airbag which is not compatible with new ones free of charge.
